What is The Bob Project?
The Bob Project is a fun way for pleo owners around the world to share and show off their pleos.
The concept
Bob the Pleo is a comic strip character known and read around the world. And, as much as he would love to travel the world to visit all the other pleos out there, he cannot. BUT, all those other pleos can pretend to be Bob . . . and get their pictures taken at places around the world, submit them here, and we can build a collection showing Bob as a virtual world traveler. That is to say, this site let's him travel the world virtually. He already travels the virtual world!
The way it works
Bob the Pleo forum members take pictures of their pleos pretending to be Bob visiting places, restaurants, and landmarks. The members then upload these pictures to the Bob the Pleo forum photo gallery and enter the picture into the database here on this site. The members are awarded points for their pictures based on certain criteria, and they can then redeem their points for free (or discounted) Bob the Pleo stuff. This way, the member gets free stuff and Bob gets to travel the world for free.
